Tim Sampson Tim Sampson

Tim Sampson grew up in Southern Indiana, and has spent more than 20 years in the veneer industry.Upon earning a degree in Forest Products from Purdue University he went directly into volume veneer sales. He joined Bacon Veneer Company in 1986 to open the company’s New York showroom on Fifth Ave. His work has since been focused primarily on the architectural design application of wood veneer in furniture and corporate interiors. In November of 1995, he became the Director of Sales and Marketing for the company. In the summer of 1996 Tim moved his family to Chicago to become Vice President of Bacon Veneer Co. He is an associate member of CSI, and is a certified instructor by ASID. Tim is a member of the Society of American Foresters and a contributing member of the Hardwood Forestry Fund. As well as speaking at the national level for the Architectural Woodwork Association and the ASID; he has been a featured speaker at regional CSI meetings in New York, Washington DC, Chicago, and Denver. Tim is a passionate outdoorsman and an avid fly fisherman.
