Rick is a native of High Point North Carolina. He started his career in the wood veneer industry over 25 years ago, in the mill of the esteemed Thompson Mahogany Company. Following his tenure with Thompson (and capitalizing on the experiences gained in the Mahogany business) Rick then spent ten years traveling the world’s forests purchasing exotic wood veneers. After several years with DHS Veneer, he has joined the Bacon staff to head up the newest sales division of Bacon Veneer Company; EXOTICS BY BACON. Rick has a teenage daughter that keeps him jumping and enjoys a regular round of golf with his son who is also in his teen years.
