Dan Meyerson Dan Meyerson

Dan’s experience with wood veneer began at age 10 after his father became owner of a furniture company that manufactured heirloom quality wood furniture. His passion for wood and beautiful design bloomed shortly thereafter and ultimately led him to a BFA degree in woodworking and furniture design from the Philadelphia College of Art (now University of the Arts). He also has a degree from Washington University in St.Louis.

Dan’s career path started as a furniture designer in the contract furniture industry, later led him into architectural woodworking and since 1993 to Bacon Veneer. He recently authored the wood veneer section of John Wiley & Son’s Interior Graphic Standards and frequently presents to architecture and design firms throughout New York and New England. He is married with two teenage step-daughters and when not attending to his family’s forays and passions, spends as much time as possible in his shop developing new ideas with beautiful wood. He’s also an avid golfer, skier, sailor and gardener.
