Challenge – Take a "traditional law firm" and create a work space that does not read "quite as traditional".
Parameters – Law firms are "traditionally, dark woods", the designer wanted an "open feeling" with the use of lighter colors and "an action" to the selected wood.
Success – With the use of "block mottled" figured ANEGRE veneer, we accomplished the "open feel and active wood". The selection of Anegre worked well, as the requirement was for 7 "typical floors" of wood. We were able to go to this species and provide the veneer for all 7 floors from one very large log!
