Challenge – Given the use of vertical grain “ribbon stripe Sapeli”, an accent wall was needed to be created (to hold the TV monitor) and to work with the book matched “standard panels.”
Parameters – This space was “crying for” a great deal of activity ( i.e. a large number of combined design elements ie: mosaic tile, stainless, granite et. al.) the wood element had a requirement to be obviously “powerful’.
Success – Bacon Veneer provided the ribbon stripe Saplei. The craft of the wood worker was creative and expertly matched in a true herringbone style. The client reported this to provide them with an interesting and very active pattern.
