Challenge – To create a “richly textured” pallet that would become the highlight of the office interior.
Parameters – The designer started with a “mahogany paint chip” and a mohair fabric. These lead to the idea of using heavily figured “dark” woods.
Success – The selection of a very intensely Pommele (quilt) figured Sapeli veneer, provided the desired texture and warmth.
